Vivo is gearing up to unveil its most anticipated flagship phone, the Vivo X200 Ultra next month in China. Top brand official is slowly revealing some key specifications of X200 Ultra on Chinese social media platform Weibo.

Today, the product manager of Vivo has confirmed the presence of two imaging chips on the X200 Ultra namely V3+ and a newly developed VS1. Both are 6nm chips, designed to work in tandem delivering extraordinary image and video quality.
Full Details

The V3+ chip is a familiar name in Vivo’s imaging line. This chip is already used on Vivo X200 Pro. It is responsible for high-end post-processing, enhancing details, colors, and dynamic range. However, the real innovation lies in the VS1 chip, Vivo’s first independent dual-core PreISP (pre-processing) chip.
The VS1 chip plays an important role in image enhancement even before the sensor data reaches the main processor. It handles fine pre-processing tasks, leveraging its extra computational power to refine raw image data, reduce noise, and optimize exposure. This pre-processed data is then passed to the V3+ chip, which applies multi-scene super-overload algorithms to further enhance the final image.
Vivo Official has emphasized that thanks to these two groundbreaking new technologies, the portrait camera of Vivo X200 Ultra will be very delicate and lifelike.
