The phone is available in two colors: Mystic Black and Satin Purple and it features a plastic body. Under the hood, it carries MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset. Although the chipset is built on a 7 nm process, it is actually an entry-level processor.
The phone offers two RAM options, either 4 GB or 6 GB but a storage capacity of 128 GB only. vivo Y27 5G features a 6.64-inch IPS LCD display and the phone incorporates the fingerprint sensor on the power button. Unfortunately, the display doesn’t offer a high refresh rate; it remains at the standard 60 Hz.
The phone comes with a dual camera setup on the back, but vivo’s official site doesn’t provide much information about these cameras, as there is an f/1.8 main camera and an f/2.4 2 MP secondary camera, but vivo doesn’t specify what the secondary camera is, we assume it’s most likely a depth sensor.
The phone comes with a 5000 mAh battery and supports 15W charging, there are some basic features like microSD card, NFC, FM Radio as well. As the name of the phone suggests, vivo Y27 features 5G connectivity with 5G SA/NSA (with SA: n1/n2/n5/n7/n26/n28/n66/n38/n40/n41/n77/n78 NSA: n1/n5/n7/n26/n28/n66/n38/n40/n41/n77/n78).
