Last year, Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi 14 Series in China and globally this year. The phones are widely praised by users and reviewers around the globe. Now, we are less than a month away from the unveiling of the new Xiaomi 15 Series, and many fans and tech enthusiasts are looking forward to this generation of Xiaomi flagships. In this article, I will focus only on the Xiaomi 15 Pro.

The Xiaomi 15 Pro will come with some of the biggest improvements over the previous generation, the Xiaomi 14 Pro. These improvements include enhancements in battery, performance, display, and camera.The Xiaomi 15 Pro will feature a 6.73-inch 2K 120Hz LTPO micro quad curved display, with the display being a new substrate CSOT C9 supplied by TCL. The battery of the Xiaomi 15 Pro will receive a major boost from its predecessor, featuring a large 6000mAh battery, making it even bigger than the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra’s 5000mAh battery, according to leaks.
The phone will also be the first in the world to debut with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset ( Snapdragon 8 Gen 4). The camera configuration is well-balanced, featuring a 1/1.31 50MP f1.4 aperture Light Hunter 900 sensor main camera paired with a 50MP ultra-wide lens and a 50MP 1/2.51 IMX 858 5X Periscope Macro lens. The cameras will be co-engineered with Leica. Additionally, the Xiaomi 15 Pro will also support an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner from Goodix. The smartphone will also come with a IP68/IP69 high level Dust and Waterproof certification.
Xiaomi 15 Pro will come in two variants, one normal and other one with satellite communication tech. The body will be made up of fibreglass material and there will also be a titanium edition. The smartphone will be powered by the all new Xiaomi HyperOs 2.0 based on Android 15.
Overall, Xiaomi 15 Pro brings upgrades across all departments. The official launch is set to take place in the 4th week of October. However this device will be China exclusive with no signs of potential global launch.
