Xiaomi will be releasing the Xiaomi 15 Series in China soon at the end of October however the flagship which everyone is looking forward to, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be launching next year in Q1. This year Xiaomi launched Xiaomi 14 Ultra in China and globally, the phone is hands down one of the best Imaging smartphones you can buy globally so everyone is eagerly waiting to see what the next iteration of Ultra will offer.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra is said to feature imaging upgrades all around. The primary camera of Xiaomi 15 Ultra will replace current 1 inch LYT 900 with a brand new sensor which is rumoured to have better imaging capabilities than LYT 900. Not only that the telephoto cameras are also getting major updates with new focal lengths.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra’s New Product Introduction (NPI) stage has introduced a 200MP 1/1.4 100mm periscope camera with a 4.3x optical zoom and a large f2.6 aperture. The periscope sensor is already very huge and paired with a large f2.6 aperture, Xiaomi 15 Ultra surely can take steller low light zoom shots. The telephoto camera will also be replaced from current 3.2x to a 2x telephoto. Xiaomi 15 Ultra will feature a Quad Camera system with a 1 inch 50MP main sensor, 50MP Ultra wide, 50MP 2x Floating Telephoto Lens and a 200MP 4.3x Periscope sensor.
Other key features of Xiaomi 15 Ultra includes a 6.78 inch 2K micro quad curved display, Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a ultra large 6000mAh battery with 90W wired and 80W fast wireless charging.
Launch Details
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra will have a seperate launch just like previous generations. The smartphone will debut first in China in February, 2025 and will be launched Globally at MWC Barcelona in February 2025. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra will also be launched in India so stay tuned.
