Xiaomi CEO announces launch of Xiaomi XRING 01, company’s in-house chipset along with Xiaomi 15S Pro and Pad 7 Ultra

Xiaomi is one of the Chinese brands that is focused on innovation. The company had recently launched its first EV, the Xiaomi SU7 in mainland China and it was a hit. There have been a lot of rumours about the company working on its in-house mobile chipset to rival MediaTek and Snapdragon and well, the chipset is now officially announced. Xiaomi XRING 01 enters mass-production, to launch with Xiaomi 15S Pro and Tab 7 Ultra

The founder and CEO of Xiaomi, Lei Jun, has announced on the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo that the company’s independently developed and designed mobile chipset, the Xiaomi XRING 01, which is based on the 3nm node, has entered the mass production stage.

He further adds to the post that two of the upcoming Xiaomi products, which will be powered by the same XRING 01 chipset will launch at the same time. The two products he is referring to is none other than the Xiaomi 15S Pro and the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra.

The Xiaomi 15S Pro is going to be the company’s newest flagship killer in the market. Early benchmark scores of the Xiaomi XRING 01 chipset reveals impressive results. The scores are pretty much on-par with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and even better in few areas. However, scores are not everything and we are exicted to see how it manages to compete with the already established giants like Qualcomm and MediaTek.

Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra

Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra and 15S Pro is set to launch in China on 22nd of May. Both the devices are being hyped for the launch. The Pad 7 Ultra is going to be the company’s most advanced tablet yet. It will have a large screen with a notch around the selfie camera to employ thinner bezels around the panel. Now since all of this sounds very intriguing, we are just as exicted to see how well the chipset holds up in real-life tests.
