Xiaomi has allegedly started the internal testing program of HyperOS 2.0 for Android TV. Testing of Xiaomi’s MiniLED series smart TVs is currently ongoing. The internal testing is meant to further polish the UI by testing it rigorously for any major bugs and issues.

What’s new in the Xiaomi HyperOS 2.0 for Android TV?
The Xiaomi HyperOS 2.0 for Android TV brings many new things. First and foremost, there’s new redesigned user interface. A new skin design has been introduced with key changes in menus, widgets and overall look and feel to provide a seamless experience to the user.
Another new feature of HyperOS 2.0 is improved display control over software. Testing reveals a new screen saver that is more appealing and dynamic than earlier. The screen saver is also focused on keeping power usage as low as possible while providing an aesthetic display.
Alongside this, HyperOS 2.0 brings better performance and a light software load. The size of the system UI has been reduced to make sure that the user interface performs fluently without any hiccups. As of right now, these changes are exclusive to MiniLED series Smart TVs since the testing is only going for those models.
Further eligible devices will see the internal test happening in the coming weeks. The public testing of HyperOS 2.0 Android TV for the MiniLED series is expected to take place by next month. Stay tuned with us to know more about any updates related to it.
