Xiaomi MIX Fold 4 Officially Confirmed to have Leica Quad Camera, Micro Curved Cover Screen

We’re just a few days away from the official launch of Xiaomi MIX Fold 4 along with the Redmi K70 Ultra. The launch is scheduled for July 19th in China. The MIX Fold 4 is not only going to be the most advanced foldable smartphone from the house of Xiaomi; but in the industry as well. And therefore, fans’ enthusiasm toward it is very high. But before that, Xiaomi has started revealing some key specs one by one to maintain its hype. We now have another official teaser that confirms the Leica quad camera system for the device.

The new teaser of the Xiaomi MIX Fold 4 not only reveals its design but some key specifications as well. The device can be seen in the shade of blue colour variant. The camera bump houses LEICA branding along with a 4-lens cutout inside it. The shape of it isn’t perfectly rectangular. And one more thing – the device will be very thin, at least that’s what we can see in the teaser.

It will have a quad rear camera system with a 50-megapixel primary wide sensor having f/1.7 aperture. It will have a 10-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with f/2.9 aperture with the support of up to 5X optical zoom as well. Xiaomi’s foldable will probably have one of the best camera systems on foldable yet.

The cover screen on the device will also be top-notch as it will offer a micro quad curved OLED display. The main screen will have a punch hole cutout on the left corner of the inner screen and a centre cutout on the cover screen.

Several other specifications such as IPX8 dust and water resistance rating, and two two-way satellite communication have been confirmed in the past. Early leaks also confirmed that the MIX Fold 4 will have the crown for being the thinnest foldable smartphone. The device is 9.47mm thin and weighs 226g.

Moreover, it will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. It might have up to 16GB of RAM and possibly 1TB of internal storage. The devices will probably remain exclusive to China and we might never get to see it launched in the overseas market.
