Xiaomi is gearing up for its largest annual event in China, where it will unveil the highly anticipated Xiaomi 14 series and introduce its freshly developed Independent HyperOS operating system. Enthusiasm among fans is already at a fever pitch, and a recent teaser from the brand has only stoked the excitement further. This teaser confirms the release of Xiaomi’s new Watch S3 eSIM variant.
Xiaomi Watch 3 will now have a new eSIM variant
Xiaomi is adding a new eSIM variant to their existing Xiaomi Watch 3. The support for eSIM will ensure that the watch has independent network capacities and does not rely on the smartphone for the network. Not only this, it will come in a new champagne gold color variant with a brown leather strap for a premium experience.
The gadget will support independent calls and texts, due to the support of eSIM. Further, the users would be able to listen to music and go out for a run, without worrying about their smartphones.
Based on earlier information, the Watch S3 features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with support for a 60Hz refresh rate, displaying 16.7 million colors at 326 pixels per inch (PPI) and offering a brightness of 600 nits. This product showcases an “ultra-thin black bezel” full-view dial design, comes in two body colors – bright black and bright silver, boasts a “sleek frosted texture,” and is powered by their own upcoming operating system.
Furthermore, the the Watch S3 allows users to choose from a variety of “high-end material” bezels, allowing them to remove, replace, and install these bezels themselves. According to the official announcement, changing the bezels will activate the appropriate “exclusive customized watch faces.” A 12-channel heart rate monitoring module has also been included in the product. It now has a specialist skiing mode capable of tracking users’ skiing statistics, in addition to its vast choice of professional sports modes, sports courses, and vitality indicators.
