The Redmi K80 Series is officially announced today to be released next week on 27th November Wednesday night. Last year Redmi launched the K70 Series which was well received by the consumers. Today, Redmi has officially announced some key details of Redmi K80 Pro. Starting with design, the smartphone features a circular camera deco on the top left side of the phone similar to past Xiaomi Civi series smartphones. The camera deco has a triple lens setup with flash outside of the deco. The back is a dual tone finish which looks quite attractive.
Furthermore, Redmi K80 Pro has some of the cutting edge technologies directly decentralised from Xiaomi flagship series. The smartphone features Xiaomi’s Longjing Glass 2.0, Wet screen touch 2.0, Xiaomi’s advanced communication technology, IP69 high specification dust and Waterproof certification.
Redmi has also announced that the entire Redmi K80 Series will feature a 2K M9 LTPS display co-developed with TCL Huaxing. This means that both the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro will significantly upgrade the screen. The new M9 display material promises a 20% decrease in power consumption. Moreover the K80 Series will also feature a 1800 nits global peak brightness
Additionally, the brand has also confirmed that the both Redmi K80 and K80 Pro will feature an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner which is a major upgrade over previous generation short focus optical fingerprint scanner.
