Vivo is gearing up to unveil its most anticipated flagship phone, the Vivo X200 Ultra, this month in China. Today Vivo held an official imaging conference where it revealed some key camera features of the upcoming Vivo X200 Ultra smartphone. The conference was full of big numbers and big claims which is surely very exciting to imagine what Vivo has cooked with its new imaging powerhouse phone.

First of all, the Vivo X200 Ultra’s imaging capabilities is its triple-camera setup. The ultra-wide-angle camera, with a 50MP sensor and a large 1/1.28″ LYT818 sensor, captures expansive views with stunning clarity. Featuring a 14mm focal length and an F2.0 aperture, it provides exceptional low-light performance and sharpness, even at wide angles. Vivo also said that for the first time an ultrawide camera is capable of taking starry sky photos at night. The camera is further enhanced with CIPA 5.0 OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), ensuring steady shots in various conditions.

The main camera is also a 50MP 1/1.28″ LYT818 sensor. The 35mm focal length and F1.69 aperture contribute to impressive background blur, making it perfect for portraits. Vivo has also equipped this camera with Zeiss T* coating and GLC 2.0 coating improves color accuracy and reduces lens flare, making every shot more vivid and realistic.

Last but not the least is the 200MP periscope camera, with a 85mm focal length and F2.27 aperture. It excels in high-resolution zoom, allowing users to capture distant subjects with incredible detail. The addition of super prism technology further enhances color rendition and clarity at longer focal lengths.

Apart from these hardware based specifications, There are an array of peripheral imaging specifications that are going to power X200 Ultra. Vivo’s imaging technologies are backed by the VSC bionic spectrum technology, providing features like full-focus 50MP HD portraits, starry sky photography, 4K120FPS video recording at all focal lengths, and even spatial video for immersive content creation.

The Vivo X200 Ultra is also future-ready with support for Vivo Vision mixed reality headsets, making it a versatile device for both photography and immersive experiences.

Launch Details

The official launch is set to take place on 21st April in China. However, for the global debut, this might be disappointing, but as per leaks, the Vivo X200 Ultra is likely to be a China-exclusive device.
