As mentioned earlier, the Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 has been officially listed on the Xiaomi Mall for pre-reservation. The president of Xiaomi China and Partner Lu Weibing has also confirmed that MIX Flip 2 will launch officially in China in coming weeks.

He says that the device will have a bigger battery, a shallower (or less visible) crease and better heat dissipation system. He adds that the Xiaomi’s goal with the MIX Flip 2 is to match or even surpass the flagship experience you get on the straight-screen or slab phones.

For reference, Redmi is going to hold an official launch event in China this month. It will launch Redmi K80 Ultra and Redmi K-series Pad in the event. It is very much possible that Xiaomi may also launch its MIX Flip 2 and Pad 7S Pro devices in the same event. But since there is no official announcements, let’s wait for it.

Leaks suggests that Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 will have a 6.85-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 1.5K screen resolution and a 4.01-inch AMOLED cover display. It will be powered by the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The phone is also said to be IPX8 water resistance rated. The battery capacity would be of around 5,000mAh with the support of 67W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
