Xiaomi is ready to announce its upgraded HyperOS 2.0 software skin for its devices. It would be announced as a successor to the existing HyperOS and is expected to carry a lot of changes and improvements. Some early reports also suggest that the new version will bring a new user interface design and improved update frequency.
But before entering the final stage of public rollout, HyperOS 2.0 will go through many stages such as internal testing followed by closed beta. Once it is confirmed that no major bugs and issues are present in the software, it will be given the green light for public release. According to a new report, the software has entered the internal testing phase, which aims toward an imminent launch.

HyperOS 2.0 internal testing begins
As per a new source, the HyperOS 2.0 has finally entered the employee testing phase. This is also known as internal testing and during this, only the employees and software testers of the brand are given access to the newly built software. This is probably the very first stage where the software goes through rigorous day-to-day testing to make sure that no major issues are present. Once the software clears this stage, it will be transferred to the beta and then finally the public release.

Further, there has been no information on which exact version of HyperOS 2.0 has entered the internal testing. This is most likely going to be the global variant as the Chinese variant entered the testing phase a few weeks ago.
HyperOS 2.0 will bring many changes compared to its predecessor. It will bring newly redesigned app icons along with some UX elements to give the software a fresh look. Slower updates were one of the most raised issues about the first generation of the skin and that might be fixed with the upcoming version. Officials have taken note of this already.
