iQOO 12 display specifications leaked; ahead of the current industry standards

iQOO is gearing up to launch its flagship iQOO 12 series of smartphones in China very soon. The series will include two different models: the vanilla 12 and the 12 Pro. Both phones are expected to offer top-of-the-line specifications, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 mobile chipset. iQOO 12 will break new records in terms of display

The brand has begun teasing its upcoming iQOO 12 device and has confirmed some of its specifications officially. Recently, the brand posted a new teaser that confirmed the display specs of the upcoming device. These specs are quite impressive and set a new benchmark for smartphone displays.

Among its standout characteristics is a cutting-edge 1.5K OLED flexible straight screen that measures 6.78 inches. This display raises the bar by providing excellent 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and a stunning peak brightness of 3000 nits, which aligns with the prestigious Xiaomi 14. Furthermore, the panel has an outstanding refresh rate of 144Hz, which is currently among the highest on the market.

The display of the device is an LTPO panel that can adjust its refresh rate from as low as 1Hz to a maximum of 144Hz. This technology enables the display to switch to different refresh rates based on the content being viewed, leading to improved battery life and a better user experience.
