OPPO Find N3 goes official with Hasselblad cameras, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC

The big day is here. OPPO has officially launched its much-anticipated OPPO Find N3 smartphone worldwide. This is most likely the most advanced foldable from the OPPO family. Even while this is not the brand’s first foldable smartphone, it is the first OPPO foldable that global consumers may experience because previous smartphones were only available in the Chinese market. OPPO Find N3 – Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, Powerful Cameras and Much More!

Being a foldable smartphone, it comes with two displays. One is your main display which can be used while the device is unfolded and the other one is an outer screen which can be used when it is folded. The cover display has a flagship  6.31-inch 2484x1116px AMOLED panel with a 20:9 aspect ratio and peak brightness support of up to 2800 nits. It comes with the support of variable refresh rate which can switch anywhere between 10Hz to 120Hz depending upon the content.

For the main screen, we get a 7.82-inch 2440x2268px AMOLED display with 2800 nits of peak brightness support. This one also comes with the support of a variable refresh rate, but it can go as low as 1Hz, as compared to 10Hz of the outer screen. Coming down to the performance, it packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

The OPPO Find N3 comes with the most powerful camera hardware in any foldable to date. It has a triple rear camera setup with Sony’s new 48-megapixel primary wide sensor, a 48-megapixel secondary ultrawide, and a 64-megapixel tertiary periscope zoom lens. The periscope lens can optically zoom up to 3X and hybrid zoom of 6X. The brand has used Sony’s new LYTIA-T808 “pixel stacked” sensor which promises better images and lighting input.

For the selfies, it comes with two cameras. One is there on the main screen and the other one is on the outer screen. We get a 20-megapixel selfie snapper on the inside screen and a 32-megapixel selfie snapper on the outside module. It’s a no doubt that this has a really powerful camera hardware.

The OPPO Find N3 packs a 4805mAh battery with the support of up to 67W SuperVOOC charging. The brand claims that it can be fully charged from 0-100% in just 42 minutes. The brand claims that they have optimized the software in such a way that users won’t face any kind of issues while using the gadget and to maximize the use of hardware wherever necessary. It comes with Android 14-based ColorOS 14 right out of the box.

OPPO Find N3 – Pricing and Availability

The device comes in four different color options – Black, Red, Green, and Gold. The former two colour variants have vegan leather panel while the latter two has a matte finish on the rear. All the colour variants have the camera bump in black colour while the champagne gold variant has the camera bump matched with the rear panel. The Oppo Find N3 will be available in a single 16/512GB for S$ 2,399 (€1,650). Pre-orders for the device will begin tomorrow.
