OPPO Find N5 a.k.a OnePlus Open 2 Specifications Leaked

OPPO announced its flagship foldable device, the OPPO Find N3 in China last year. It debuted later in the global and Indian market as OnePlus Open. It’s now time for the successor of it, the OPPO Find N5. The device will first launch in mainland China. Afterwards, it will be announced in overseas markets as OnePlus Open 2. We now have a fresh leak related to it which reveals some key specifications of the upcoming device.

OPPO Find N5 to feature 50MP camera sensor, Snapdragon 8 Gen 4

Known tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo has posted a leak about the upcoming OPPO Find N5 device. As per the tipster, the device will be powered by SM8750 chipset. This chipset in question is nothing but Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, a yet-to-launch chipset. The chipset is said to debut officially in October this year. Xiaomi will probably be the first brand to use this chipset on its smartphones.

Talking further, the leak mentions that both the main screen and the cover screen will have a 2K pixel resolution. For photography and videography, it will sport triple rear cameras with a 50-megapixel primary camera powered by a Sony sensor. There will be a periscope lens as well. The details about the tertiary camera remain unknown but it is mostly going to be an ultrawide lens. The camera bump will be similar to the predecessor, a larger circular bump.

The tipster also claims that the brand has worked on making the device as thin as possible and hence its thickness is estimated to be around 9.X mm. The device will also have the OnePlus’ famous alert slider that will allow the user to seamlessly switch from normal mode to silent and vibration mode. The sturdiness and waterproof coating is expected to get an improvement in the model.
