The much-anticipated OxygenOS 15 has been finally announced globally. The launch was pretty interesting; the brand unveiled many new AI features for its user interface. The upgraded UI brings many new changes and performance improvements. The new animation engineer with parallel rendering architecture was also introduced.
Alongside the launch, OnePlus revealed the timeline for the rollout of the open beta version of OxygenOS 15 for eligible devices. If you would like to ascertain your device’s eligibility for the open beta and determine the timeline for receiving the update, please check the list provided below:

Here is the official OxygenOS 15 open beta release timeline. Also, please keep in mind that open beta will still be limited to a few regions and users and we recommend checking the information with the brand before enrolling into any testing version.
From October 30th: OnePlus 12, OnePlus 12R and OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact Edition
From November: OnePlus Open, OnePlus Pad 2
From December: OnePlus 11 5G, OnePlus 11R 5G, OnePlus Nord 4, OnePlus Nord CE 4, OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G and OnePlus Pad
From January: OnePlus 10 Pro 5G, OnePlus 10T 5G, OnePlus Nord 3 5G
From February: OnePlus 10R 5G, OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G

Further, the brand has said that the rollout timeline is subject to change and is approximate. As for the stable rollout, it will be released only when all the quality checks in the form of open beta are passed. Once the rollout of the open beta begins, you might have to wait a few more times as the firm says that the rollout will happen batch-wise.

For a quick overview, the OxygenOS 15 brings the industry’s first parallel animation rendering architecture and system sideswipe consistency for a smooth and uniform user experience. A lot of newly designed widgets have also been added to give UI to fresh touch. The brand has also added the much-requested lock screen customization with the option of clock colour blending, depth effect, lock screen to AOD transition and blurred wallpapers. Home screen customization is also improved.
Apart from this, the launch was focused on AI-based features. The brand introduced an all-new OnePlus AI that includes features like AI eraser, AI Unblur, AI reflection eraser and AI detail boost for enhanced photography experience. A lot of other AI-powered features such as AI summary and AI toolbox have been introduced. The circle to search is also finally coming to OnePlus devices via OxygenOS 15.
