Xiaomi’s Sub-brand Poco has launched its most popular and anticipated Poco X7 Series in the Global and Indian markets. This includes the base Poco X7 and Poco X7 Pro . The smartphones have brought some very impressive specifications in the midrange market.
Key Specifications
Poco X7 and X7 Pro both feature a 6.67 inch 12 bit 1.5K 120Hz OLED display with 3200 nits peak brightness. The base X7 is a curved display whereas the Pro variant offers a flat display experience. The display also supports PWM dimming at 1920hz for better eye protection. The display of both the smartphones is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front side and Gorilla Glass 7i on the back.
Poco X7 Pro offers a 50MP LYT 600 1/1.98 inch OIS + 8MP Ultrawide dual camera set-up. Whereas the base X7 a offers a triple 50MP LYT 600 1/1.98 inch OIS + 8MP Ultrawide + 2MP macro camera.
Poco X7 features a Mediatek Dimensity 7300 Ultra processor with a big 5500mAh battery and 45W fast charging whereas the Pro variant features a Meditek Dimensity 8400 Ultra chip offering flagship level performance. The battery capacity is also an ultra large 6550mAh battery and 90W charging.
Another highlighting feature of two smartphones are water and dust proof specifications. The Poco X7 and Poco X7 Pro offer IP66, IP68 and IP69 waterproofing certification.
Other specifications include LPDDR5X ram support and a UFS 4.0 storage. Both the smartphones have 20MP front camera. Poco X7 features Xiaomi HyperOs 1.0 based on Android 14 whereas the X7 Pro features the latest Xiaomi HyperOs 2 based on Android 15. Both will have 3+4 years of update policy. The X7 Series also features advanced 3D Ice Loop cooling technology for better thermals.
