Vivo X100 confirmed to feature Sony IMX920 camera sensor!
The most recent data, given by famed leaker Digital Chat Station, go into great detail about the Vivo X100’s camera specs as well as important features. It’s believed to have a Sony IMX920 main camera, an ISOCELL JN1 ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 3X periscope telephoto macro lens with the designation “Vario-Tessar” for sophisticated optics.
The leaked specifications of the cameras look fascinating and it now further boosts excitement to test out the real-life camera performance of the device. And I guess we are not very far from it.
According to the rumors, the primary Sony IMX920 camera will have an amazing f/1.57 super big aperture, while the JN1 ultra-wide-angle lens would have a range of 15mm. Furthermore, the OV64B 3X periscope lens may have an aperture of f/2.57. The camera system as a whole is projected to have apertures ranging from f/1.57 to f/2.57 and focal lengths ranging from 15mm to 70mm.
Not only this, the telephoto lens will have the ability to focus on closer objects and hence, provide micro shots from the same lens. Furthermore, the word “Sony IMX920” is an internal product reference name, and Sony is presently emphasizing its Lytia brand. To match this branding strategy, the ultimate marketing name may fall under the LYT8xx series.
