Xiaomi 14 gets HyperOS 2.0 update globally

HyperOS 2.0 is Xiaomi’s latest iteration of the user interface design for its devices. It comes with tons of improvements, optimization, and added features. Following the recent trend, Xiaomi has also added a slew of AI-powered features to the software. The brand is working to release the update to all the eligible devices as soon as possible. The vanilla flagship of the brand, the Xiaomi 14 have now started receiving the HyperOS 2.0 update in the global market.

Xiaomi pushes HyperOS 2.0 update for Xiaomi 14 devices

In a recent development, Xiaomi has started pushing the HyperOS 2.0 update for eligible Xiaomi 14 devices in the global market. The update weighs a whopping 6.3GB in size. It is based on the latest Android 15 and has the build number OS2.0.4.0.VNCMIXM. For now, only the international variant of Xiaomi 14 is getting the update. If you have any regional-specific variant, such as the Indian variant, then you will have to wait a few more days or perhaps weeks before the update lands on your device.

Coming down to the changelog, HyperOS 2.0 brings many notable improvements over its predecessor. The overall animations across the user interface are now more elegant and smooth. There is support for advanced texture which enables blur and frosted glass effects in the applicable areas of the UI as well. Some minor changes are also made to the icons and overall design of the software.

Aside from that, there are tons of AI features in HyperOS 2.0. Some of them are: AI proofreading, which checks for grammar and readability errors in the text, there’s an AI summary feature which summarizes the long notes and webpages articles for you and an AI-powered eraser has also been added in the gallery.
