Xiaomi is all set to launch the much awaited Xiaomi 15 series of devices, including the 15 Ultra globally on March 2nd. But before that, the company will host a launch event later this month to announce the Xiaomi 15 Ultra device, along with the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra EV. A new leak has emerged online that reveals the battery and charging capacity of the upcoming 15 Ultra device.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra will pack 6000mAh battery with 90W wired and 80W wireless charging
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra device had 5300mAh battery in the Chinese variant and a slightly less 5000mAh battery in the global variant. Now as per the known tipster Panda is very bald, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will pack an upgraded 6,000mAh battery with the support of 90W wired and 80W fast wireless charging support. He also claims that the device will measure 9.4mm in thickness and will weigh 229 grams.
There are some recent leaks about the Xiaomi 15 Ultra’s battery, and they don’t agree. One leak says it will have a 5,410mAh battery, while another (the current one) suggests a larger size. It’s tough to know which one is correct. It’s possible that the company will repeat the same strategy they used with the 14 Ultra. In that case, the global version had a 5,410mAh battery, while the Chinese version had a bigger 6,000mAh battery. They might also use new silicon-carbon battery technology, which could allow them to fit more battery power in the same or even less space.
