Galaxy S25 Slim Might Remain Exclusive to South Korean Market

2025 is going to see two new trends in the smartphone market: one of the bigger battery capacity and the other one of the slim smartphones. Apple is also reportedly working on its iPhone 17 Air, which would be a slim and light weight smartphone. Samsung, on the other hand, is also working on something similar which would be known as Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim. But it might not launch globally and is tipped to remain exclusive to one market.

No global launch for Galaxy S25 Slim as it would remain exclusive to South Korea

The Samsung Galaxy S25 series is going to launch in a few days globally. It will be unveiled at the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event which is scheduled to take place on January 22nd. However, we won’t see the launch of S25 Slim in the event. This is primarily because of the delay in its development. Per rumours, the device’s launch is now pushed to late March this year.

Popular tipster Evan Blass has now shared some more information related to the Galaxy S25 Slim. As per him, the device will not launch in the US market at all. He further says that the gadget will sit between the Galaxy S25 Plus and Ultra in terms of pricing.

Samsung’s strategy appears to be quite similar to what we observed with the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, which was not launched globally and was exclusively available in South Korea. This raises questions about whether Samsung will employ a similar approach for the S25 Slim device. However, it’s important to note that this is all speculation at this point. To gain more clarity, we will have to wait for an official announcement or the launch itself.
