Xiaomi recently held its flagship event in China, where they announced the top-of-the-line phones such as Xiaomi MIX Fold 4 and MIX Flip, along with the Redmi K70 Ultra. The devices then became a major point of discussion among the enthusiasts. But this is not the end of Xiaomi’s disruptive launches. We still have the upcoming Xiaomi 15 series in the pipeline. The upgraded Xiaomi HyperOS 2.0 is also rumoured to be announced alongside the Xiaomi 15 series.
Plenty of leaks and rumours about the upcoming devices are circulating on the internet. Some reports suggest one thing, while others suggest something different. However, one common theme across all these rumours is that the Xiaomi 15 series is expected to have high-end specifications. We now have another leak that reveals that Xiaomi 15 Pro’s battery specifications have undergone a last-minute change.
Xiaomi 15 Pro will pack a whopping 6000mAh battery
Till now, flagships were known for offering smaller battery capacities. This was due to the brands being focused on making the device as slim as possible and providing a premium in-hand experience to the consumers. But with the evolving tech, we started to get bigger batteries even on the flagship smartphones. The upcoming Xiaomi 15 Pro takes this to just next level.

Per recent info, the Xiaomi 15 Pro will pack a whopping 6000mAh battery. This is probably going to be one of the largest, if not the largest, batteries on a flagship smartphone. The device will make use of a high-density power battery so that it will not make the device thicker and it’s been rumoured that it will weigh less than 200gms. Alongside it, there will be support for up to 90W fast Xiaomi HyperCharge. All these specifications seem very interesting.
It was also reported previously that the Xiaomi 15 Pro will offer a 120mm IMX858 f/1.5 periscope telephoto lens with Optical Image Stabilization support. This is the same telephoto hardware that we get on Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Apart from this, the device is stated to support a 6.73-inch micro-curved flagship OLED display with up to 2k resolution. It will have support for a 120Hz high refresh rate, alongside Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and other useful display specs or certifications.
Regarding the power, there should be no confusion as one and only Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset is going to power the device. It will be interesting to see how Xiaomi’s new software, the HyperOS will be able to properly make use of the power of this chipset.
