However, it hasn’t been long since the 14U was released, and we already have new leaks regarding the Xiaomi 15 Ultra smartphone, which will be coming next year. As we know, Xiaomi has been working on the Xiaomi 15 Series for a while now. The Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro will be released much earlier, in October, and the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will debut in Q1 2025.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra’s Telephoto and Periscope Cameras
According to the famous Chinese blogger Digital Chat Station, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra’s initial prototypes have much-upgraded telephoto and super periscope cameras. This means that both the telephoto and periscope cameras will get a major boost over the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. It is expected that both the sensor and focal length will be increased.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra will also feature a quad-camera system with a main 1-inch sensor, ultra-wide, and telephoto-periscope cameras. All these cameras will be co-engineered with Leica. The smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and will boot HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15.

Earlier, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra global launch was also leaked. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be available in global markets and in India for sale. The device has already been spotted on the IMEI database, revealing the potential global launch next year. The phone is expected to be revealed at MWC 2025 in Barcelona.
